With its easy opening , the roof tent simply sets up in 30 seconds and allows you to immediately enjoy your roof tent, wherever you are. To open it, simply undo the 2 hooks, the shell then rises by itself . Then all you have to do is deploy the ladder and that's it!

In order to best adapt to your vehicle, the Hussarde Duö roof tent is designed with 3 standard doors (two side and one rear), all equipped with mosquito nets . You can use the main door on the right or the secondary doors and admire the landscape all around you when you go to bed and when you wake up.

The Hussarde Duö roof tent has also been designed with a breathable and waterproof canvas . Its ultra-efficient ventilation system, patented passive ventilation, allows very good condensation evacuation.

The Hüssarde Duö tent is equipped with galvanized steel closures, with an anti-vibration latch preventing accidental opening. In a living room environment (sea or ocean), galvanized steel may oxidize on the surface but remains functional (it is recommended to oil it frequently.).

When folded, the unique shape of the shell provides unique aerodynamics . The cover will not slow down your vehicle or increase your fuel consumption, or very little.

This roof tent is also very easy to install on the roof of your vehicle. You can remove the mattress and ladder to make it lighter. With its weight of 55kg, you can easily lift it with 2 people in order to install it on your car, van or converted van.

The Hussarde Duö roof tent is supplied with a quick fixing system patented by Naït Up, approved and anti-theft and with specific tightening tools. The fixing system is compatible with bars of 50 mm max thickness and 170 mm max width and for 2 roof bars.

THE TYPE OF CANVAS

• Polycotton canvas (included) : A breathable, soft, waterproof and rot-proof canvas. (Materials: 30% Cotton, 70% Polyester, 230 g/m² Ripstop (anti-tear)).

• Cotton canvas (+450€): Canvas suitable for all 4 seasons, sewn in France. Very pleasant to the touch, it is also an insulating and breathable material. Waterproof and rot-proof, proper maintenance of this high-end 235gr/m² cotton will give you unrivaled longevity.

LADDER SIZE

Standard mobile ladder (included): For vehicles up to 1.70 m. Telescopic ladder with micro-step adjustment with specific hanging system for Hussarde Duö (and Quatrö/Family window). Anti-theft lock.

Large mobile ladder (M2.6) (+69€): For vehicles up to 2.20 m. Telescopic ladder with micro-step adjustment with specific hanging system for Hussarde Duö + extended closing rope. Anti-theft lock.

THE MATTRESS

• Duo Soft Complete Mattress (+159€): 

Complete mattress including high density foam (35 kg/m3) offering high resilience (HR returns to its shape, does not age) and soft comfort (hardness 3.3 kPa).
The mattress protector can be unzipped on 3 sides and ensures optimal protection of the foam. Dimensions: 115 * 200 cm / thickness: 5cm

• Firm Duo complete mattress (+159€): 

Complete mattress including high density foam (40 kg/m3) offering high resilience (HR returns to its shape, does not age) and firm comfort (hardness 4.2 kPa).

The mattress protector can be unzipped on 3 sides and ensures optimal protection of the foam. Dimensions : 115 * 200 cm / thickness: 5cm

Facility

This roof tent is also very easy to install on the roof of your vehicle. You can remove the mattress and ladder to make it lighter. With its weight of 55kg, you can easily lift it with 2 people in order to install it on your car, van or converted van.

The Hussarde Duö roof tent is installed with two transverse roof bars meeting the criteria below:

• The bars must support the weight of your folded Hussard, i.e. 55kg.
• The length of your roof bars must be greater than 110cm. Otherwise, additional bars will have to be installed.
• The height between the top of the roof bars and the roof of the vehicle must be equal to or greater than 8cm (which is the case for all bars) so that the fixing system does not touch the roof of your car. Otherwise, overbars are necessary.
• The space between the front bar and the rear bar must be greater than 70 cm ( from the middle of the front bar to the middle of the rear bar ), and no more than 128 cm ( this time from the outside of the front bar to outside of the rear bar ). If you feel that the ground is too soft with such a gap, you can add a third bar in the middle. This space can be increased to 150 cm with the use of an overbar (optional).

The NuFix fixing system is compatible with all bars, even very wide (up to 15 cm) or very thick (up to 5 cm). The shape of the bars (square, rectangular, etc.) does not matter.

For Renault Dusters, the low price Feu Vert bars are not recommended.
